An eclectic performer, Celia mixes rock, folky funky expressions, and the vocal strength of torch song singers. Inspired by performers like Carole King, Edie Brickell, Burt Bacharach, and groups like the Sundays, The Isley Brothers, and the Pretenders, Celia combines these diverse influences to create her own unique sound. Ellen the Felon and the Mattronome are a two-piece punk, jazz, cabaret powerhouse that have been playing in and around the St. Louis area for about four years.
Syna So Pro is a one-woman band, who uses two looping pedals, amongst other looping technology, to create her “symphonic” sound, including the guitar, bass, keys and violin.
