The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis is housing an amazing production called “Safe House” written by Keith Josef Adkins January 21st through February 8, 2015. The story of the Pedigrew family was wonderfully illustrated all the way through. The set was creatively affective as it put you right into the year 1843. The Pedigrew family held a not so common place in their community as free people of color. One brother had dreams of opening his own shoe business while risking the family's unity and freedom.
