This year's 39th Annual Forest Park Balloon Race brought much excitement to St. Louis, as many area businesses and residents participated in the balloon glow. 
Many onlookers watched as the balloons were fired up and lifted into the air.
Larry Owen came in first place, with Joe Nusrala and John Daugherty taking home the second and third place prizes.
