Beyond education at St. Louis
Community College at Florissant Valley, there are opportunities for students on
campus to utilize to help out with their career choices. The Career and
Employment Services center is there to help you with that. If you are a student
looking for a job, there's an option on the school website http://www.stlcc.edu/Student_Resources/Career_and_Employment_Services/
called "Career Network."
The "Career Network" is an job
search database for students who wish to find jobs locally and across America.
When students actually visit the link above, you'll have the opportunity to
create a profile and look for jobs in the area within you career field or
outside of your career field. This service is not only tailored for students,
alumni of Florissant Valley can have access to this feature also. Employers can
personally set up a profile for students and alumni to apply for positions.
Jennifer Cox who holds the position of Career Specialist states, "Our
career network is an online database of career, degree, and job related
opportunities."
Career and Employment Services also
offer help with resume reviews, mock interviews, career fair opportunities,
workshops and more. Students looking for an opportunity to make sure their
