Art Gallery features representations of female and black male identity


   Gallery enlightens and entertains

The FV Contemporary Art Gallery hosted the exhibit Black Photo September 30- November 1. Thirty art pieces from artists Collin W. Elliott and Tiffany Sutton graced the walls of the gallery. Elliott’s work reflects the wide ranges of male identities. Sutton presents multiple meanings and dual perceptions in her art. She features women with fruit mirroring biblical and Greek mythology as well as medical beliefs. The FV Art Department hosted an artist reception on Oct. 3rd

The gallery’s next exhibit, FV/YALE, will feature the work of FV art alum who went on to study at Yale University. The exhibit features work from Aaron Fowler, Michael Shultis and Dominic Chambers and runs Nov. 4 –Dec. 6.
