KMOX’s Carol Daniel to give MLK, Jr. celebration address
St. Louis Community College- Florissant Valley (FV) will celebrate the Martin
Luther King, Jr. holiday on Tuesday, Jan. 21 from 5-7:30 pm in the Terry M.
Fisher Theatre. Award-winning broadcast journalist, Carol Daniel from KMOX 1120 AM, will
deliver the keynote address. The St. Louis Press Club recognized Daniel as one of the Media Persons of the Year recently.
The theme for the MLK, Jr. Day celebration is “Let’s Build Bridges, Not Walls.” The event is open to the campus and surrounding North County communities to join in the annual festivities in partnership with North County Churches United. Donations for the Archers Market will be accepted as this will be the STLCC Day of Service activity.
